Here you will find a few translation and interpreting related blog pieces, as well as – under ‘2.6 writing’ – a creative writing series I did during lockdown in 2020.   I will be back to writing about translation, interpreting and other linguist things shortly!

Jennifer.

What is 2.6 writing about?  The 2.6 challenge was to help charities make up fundraising losses due to covid19 and lockdown restrictions.  I decided to do a daily challengewriting exactly 260 words each time, on a different aspect of the theme  ‘At home.’  I raised money for Scottish Women’s Aid, to help women and children who don’t have the safety that home is supposed to mean. There is a link to a Justgiving page after each entry. If you enjoy even one of the days and donate a few pounds for that one, that would be something! Thanks.
