Jennifer Alexander is a native speaker of UK English, with over twenty years’ experience studying and working with languages. She first studied German and Danish as an undergraduate, and later came to Portuguese when living and working in Brazil (community work, teaching and translating).

She translates and interprets and writes because of a simple love of words: the endless possibilities they offer us, the power they contain, and the fun – and because of the way a different language lets us see the world through an alternative window.
